DeAnn Golden

A freshly ascendant leader, DeAnn Golden became president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties in June 2022. She marked her promotion with a “Forever Moving Forward Together” plan. Golden’s plan held seven tenets: creating a council for idea exchanges; collaboration with longstanding service partners; customer-centric marketing; highly functional technology; We Care charitable ventures; embracing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and housing affordability; and amplifying a service-oriented culture.

“It is the people who inspire me,” says Golden. “Real estate is about helping real people find their dream home or next investment. Often, we help in times of great happiness or excitement: new careers, marriages, new additions to the household, and wealth accumulation. It’s exciting to help others during these times. Unfortunately, we are also called upon during difficult or sad times as the trusted advisor who people lean on at times of death, divorce, an unanticipated need to move, or financial reasons. Helping and caring for others in all stages of life is inspiring and rewarding yet very humbling.”
