As CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, Diane Glass is leading the transformation of the brokerage’s culture and identity, from a successful rebranding at the beginning of 2020 to adapting to the changes brought on by multiple events throughout the year.
In response to the pandemic, Glass led the company that consists of 24 offices and 1,500-plus agents with proactive and consistent communication. She created virtual spaces where brokers and staff could stay connected to senior leadership.
She also turned her attention to racial inequality, urging her team to consider how real estate inclusivity could be part of the solution. By listening and learning, she cultivated a list of educational materials to help coach her staff on access, homeownership diversity and building generational wealth.
“The challenges that we have faced this past year have given our industry opportunities to serve clients in new ways,” says Glass. “I am enormously proud of the creativity, adaptability and determination of the agents and staff of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago.”
