Geoffrey Green followed in the footsteps of his parents, a teacher and a nurse who went on to become successful real estate brokers. He obtained his real estate license in 2005 and opened his own firm, Green Team Realty, in Warwick, N.Y. It now ranks among the top 10 brokerages in Orange County.

Green Team stands out because of the continuous training provided to associates, including weekly practice sessions, a video library that addresses all aspects of selling real estate, tech training, and a mentoring program. Green focuses on marketing and technology, allows his employees to work from home and in the field, plans events for staff, and hands out awards to recognize their accomplishments. Green Team also raises money for charity. Green Team New Jersey Realty was opened in 2016. It has since become one of the top 20 real estate agencies in Sussex County and one of the top 5 in Vernon.

Green learned that when clients moved to another location, it was often necessary to pay entry fees for referral networks to match them with local real estate agents. To solve this problem, Green co-founded REALLY, an app that allows agents to connect, exchange legally binding referral agreements, and keep their entire commission.

Green sums up his philosophy this way: “My 5 secrets to success: 1. Love what you do; 2. Work Hard; 3. Practice; 4. Practice; 5. Practice.”
