Georg Gerstenfeld is the vice president and general manager for DocuSign’s Global Real Estate Solutions. Housed in San Francisco, Gerstenfeld leads one of the company’s most strategic customer segments. A Silicon Valley veteran, Gerstenfeld has run sales and marketing for Fortune 500 companies, including Intuit and startups like Trulia. As the general manager of Trulia’s Business Services Group, he oversaw the growth of the company’s agent and broker services, launching innovative new ad models on both the web and mobile. Gerstenfeld has a strong passion for the environment, and founded Intuit Green to reduce his company’s carbon footprint and help its customers eliminate paper.
At DocuSign, Gerstenfeld and his team aim to make the entire real estate transaction digital. “For years, we’ve seen widespread adoption of e-signatures across the home-buying process,” he says. “The ease of use, simplicity and time-savings can transform the experience for all parties, and it has led to more than 2.5 million real estate transactions being DocuSigned each year.”
Recently, Gerstenfeld and his team achieved great success with DocuSign Rooms for Real Estate, and at this year’s MBA Annual Conference, DocuSign announced the upcoming release of its Rooms for Mortgage offering. “DocuSign Rooms for Mortgage provides a single digital destination for the parties involved in buying and selling to come together, process and finalize the transaction,” says Gerstenfeld.
