Greg Zadel was the 2019 chair of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) MLS Committee and will be 2020 chair of the NAR MLS Technology & Emerging Issues Advisory Board. He is proud of helping to lead the industry in creating MLS policy that enhances brokers’ opportunity to serve their customers.
“We must continue to adapt our MLS policies to the marketplace in which geographical boundaries and other artificial limitations are hindering brokers’ ability to help with their clients’ real estate needs,” he says.
Zadel is the broker/owner of Zadel Realty, which he founded in Colorado in 1980 at the age of 20. The following year, he graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in real estate and construction management.
In addition to the perspective of a small broker, Zadel brings an understanding of large brokerages, associations and MLSs. He has held positions with the North Metro Denver REALTOR® Association, NAR, MLS TEIAB and Metrolist.
Zadel has earned several professional certifications, including GRI, CRS and CRB, and was one of the first 300 to earn the NAR Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) REALTOR® Association membership. He received Denver Metro Association of REALTORS’® Roundtable of Excellence Awards from 2011 through 2017 for sales production.
Zadel is actively involved in his community and has raised money for several charities. In 2003, he wrote a book entitled “Your Director Hat: A Guide to Serving as a Director on a Board.”
