James O’Bryon serves as CEO of RE/MAX Gold, which includes several partner companies in California and Nevada that together comprise the largest and most powerful RE/MAX sales organization in the world. O’Bryon refers to the brokerages collectively as Gold Nation. Sales volume was expected to surpass $10 billion in 2020, with 2,200 agents averaging $5 million per year in sales.

His mission has created an agent-centric environment with servant leaders, and his visibility has led to valuable partnerships.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team added $2 billion in sales volume and integrated eight brokerages into Gold Nation. O’Bryon said those were his team’s accomplishments, not his. “It is not about me,” O’Bryon says. “It is about our incredible leadership and support team and the extraordinary entrepreneurs they serve.”
