James O'Bryon

As CEO of RE/MAX Gold Nation, James O’Bryon has led the company since 1998 and has overseen its growth to five states and 121 offices in 37 counties throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon and Washington.

RE/MAX Gold Nation, composed of RE/MAX Gold, One, Grupe Gold, Realty Affiliates, Alliance Group and Equity Group, was listed in RISMedia’s 2021 Power Broker survey as the 10th largest company in sales volume. The firm is one of the top independently owned residential real estate companies in California and in 2018 became the largest franchised real estate brokerage in the United States.

O’Bryon’s mission has led to an agent-centric environment led by servant leaders. The executive leadership team has collectively been affiliated with RE/MAX Gold Nation for over 140 years. O’Bryon’s leadership and vision led to new arenas in 2022.  In May, HomeGuide Mortgage was created, a joint venture with CMG Financial, O’Bryon oversaw the growth of Gold Nation’s essential services, including title and insurance, with more to come in the latter months of 2022 at press time.
