Jeffrey Fagan, regional vice president of Watson Realty Corp., was 2019 president of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association, the eighth-largest REALTOR® organization in the U.S., representing over 15,500 real estate professionals.

“It is humbling to be entrusted with the leadership of ORRA, its members and the homebuyers and sellers that rely on its REALTOR® members to guide them through their real estate transaction,” Fagan said in an announcement from Watson Realty Corp. “REALTORS® are in the position of changing lives and communities for the better, and it’s a responsibility that should be taken very seriously.”

Fagan said that during his tenure as president, he planned to focus on providing education and programs to enhance REALTOR® professionalism. Another top priority was addressing the lack of affordable housing across Florida.

Fagan said that for years, legislators had taken money from the Sadowski Fund, which REALTORS® and citizens had supported to raise money for affordable housing programs, and had instead used those funds to support other projects or to balance the budget. “It’s time to honor the wishes of the people and to use the Sadowski funds as they are intended,” Fagan said.

Fagan pursued a career in real estate after working for 20 years in the poultry agribusiness. He has had a Florida real estate license since 2001 and holds a CRB designation and Gold Key Certification. Fagan earned the ORRA 2015 REALTOR® of the Year Award for spearheading the association’s Excellence in Professionalism – Gold Key Certification program.
