Jessica Edgerton

In her role as executive vice president of Operations for Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), Jessica Edgerton oversees technology, marketing, learning and development, preferred vendor relationships, and events. She also serves as corporate counsel to make sure the company complies with all laws and industry rules, and effectively manages risk.

One of Edgerton’s areas of focus is cybersecurity, as data leaks, malware and ransomware can affect professionals in any industry, including real estate. Edgerton has launched a “Risky Business” video series to educate LeadingRE members about safeguards and best practices that brokers and agents can use to protect their businesses and clients from cyber crime. She also teaches real estate professionals how to collect consumer data while respecting people’s privacy and complying with the law.

Before joining LeadingRE in January 2018, Edgerton served as associate counsel for the National Association of REALTORS®, as chief legal officer for U.S. Appraisal Group, Inc., and as an attorney for several law firms.
