In 2020, Joe Rand was named executive director of the Broker Public Portal (BPP). He will also remain the chief creative officer of Howard Hanna | Rand Realty, one of the largest brokerages in the New York Tri-State region, with nearly 30 offices, 1,200 agents and over $2.3 billion in real estate transactions in 2019.
As executive director, Rand will serve as “the face of a movement,” which has grown to include more than 240 MLSs, representing over 90 percent of all property listings nationwide. BPP, along with Homesnap, the real estate industry’s national search portal featuring the same accurate, real-time information that agents use, chose Rand for his commitment to help achieve each company’s goals and expanding this industry movement.
“My two-year goal working with the BPP with Homesnap is to make it the No. 1 real estate search site in the country,” Rand says. “We have an opportunity to take the BPP to the forefront of the conversation about our industry’s future.”
