Justin “JZ” Ziegler is the national president of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, where he passionately advocates for increasing LGBTQ+ representation and homeownership within the real estate industry. Under his leadership, the organization has surpassed 4,000 members in its fourth year, exceeding its five-year goal of 3,000.
Ziegler has spearheaded initiatives like the launch of a tracker site that monitors politicians sponsoring anti-LGBTQ bills, correlating their donations from the REALTOR® Political Action Committee. Last year, he also organized the first-ever national policy summit in Washington, D.C., allowing members to meet with legislators, and hosted an inaugural first-time homebuyer seminar at its national convention in Las Vegas.
With a mission to create opportunities for individuals to achieve homeownership and the generational wealth it fosters, Ziegler aims to raise the LGBTQ+ homeownership rate from its current 49.8% while combating housing discrimination. He began his real estate career in 2010 with his Common Ground Home Team and holds an MBA from Georgia State University. His commitment to fostering inclusivity is evident in his roles on various boards, including the Atlanta Association of REALTORS®.
