Kathie FitzPatrick, a real estate agent with Keller Williams Yakima Valley in Washington state, is dedicated to helping others in her community, particularly at-risk youth. In 1997, staff at a local juvenile detention center asked the youth pastor at the church FitzPatrick attended to share principles from the Bible with detainees.
FitzPatrick and other volunteers with the Young Lions Youth Ministry program visit adolescents in juvenile detention each week. Sessions address a variety of issues affecting young people, such as abuse, anger and addiction. According to younglions.com, FitzPatrick said, “I believe I have a predictable formula for helping to turn many of these ‘at-risk’ youth around.”
FitzPatrick has been working in real estate in the Yakima Valley region since 1994 and holds both GRI and CRS designations. She keeps up with current trends in the ever-changing field of real estate to provide excellent customer service to her customers. FitzPatrick helps clients stage their homes, uses her photography skills to take quality photos and writes effective ads to attract prospective buyers. When customers come to her looking for a house, she listens carefully to learn which factors are most important to them so she can help them find a home that suits their needs.
Before entering the real estate field, FitzPatrick had a career in television producing. She worked on magazine shows and wrote and produced television advertising in the San Francisco Bay Area.
