Kathleen Lappe

As the mother of an autistic child, Kathleen Lappe is unsurprisingly an advocate for the Americans With Disabilities Act certifications, breaking down language barriers in real estate (with audio read text especially), and a more equitable industry. How does a futurist bring about their vision? In part, through networking.

Lappe founded DirectOffer in 2019, but 2023 was an important year for the company’s growth and influence within the real estate sector. During the year, Lappe spearheaded partnerships between DirectOffer and some of the largest brokerages in the industry: RE/MAX, HomeServices of America, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, EXIT Realty and FIABCI-USA. As of 2023, DirectOffer maintains partnerships with companies collectively home to 300,000 plus real estate agents.
