As the first president-elect for the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO), Marcia Franks made company history. She is the first REALTOR® from Tennessee to become president of the company in 90 years, appointed at the ARELLO’s first ever virtual annual meeting in September 2020. Prior to this appointment, she served as an agent for almost 35 years. As the leader of ARELLO, Franks supports jurisdictions in the administration and enforcement of real estate license laws. She is also a leader in real estate regulation promoting and facilitating excellence.
“I have been blessed with many opportunities in my real estate career to take on leadership positions locally, statewide, nationally and now internationally,” she says. “I always try to be open and welcoming to those opportunities.”
In addition to her recent success and position, she was also reappointed to the Tennessee Real Estate Commission in 2019, as well as serving on and chairing several other committees.
