Melanie De Armas

RE/MAX Advance Realty

Melanie De Armas made history in 2024 as RE/MAX’s youngest Hispanic female owner and CEO, acquiring the company’s largest Southeast U.S. office at 39. A fixture in Miami’s legal, title and real estate communities, she brings deep market knowledge, refined negotiation skills and a commitment to success to her agents.

Between May 2020 and July 2024, throughout the pandemic and amid industry changes, the company more than tripled its office holdings from two to seven, highlighted by acquisitions of RE/MAX All Keys Real Estate and RE/MAX Unique, the longest-standing international real estate office in Miami Lakes. De Armas credits this successful expansion to strategic acquisition approaches that adapted to evolving market conditions, including sustainability and futureproofing.

“South Florida real estate has historically been quite collegial among professionals, but in the past decade turned highly competitive among brokerages, as national players made inroads into the country’s hottest residential market,” says De Armas. “Our expansion strategy began as an opportunity, but evolved into a matter of survival.”
