Michael Guthrie

A 40-year real estate veteran, Michael Guthrie takes his experience and brings it to others to help educate and influence the industry toward a successful future.

Guthrie has been sought out to train agents and brokers on how to comply with last year’s NAR settlement requirements. Most recently, he was among a panel of real estate experts speaking on this issue for the Raleigh NC Association of REALTORS®.

Guthrie’s radio show was recognized by the Virginia Associated Press Broadcasters Awards in the following categories: Best Documentary or In-Depth, Best Specialty Reporting, Best Light Feature, Best Serious Feature and Best QA (One-on-One) Interview. Guthrie also received the Virginia REALTORS® Association Good Neighbor award for the way he gives back to the community and encourages others to do the same.

Guthrie expressed that the most rewarding aspect of his career is “seeing others achieve success because of my mentoring/coaching.” He added that he finds joy in using his “teaching, mentoring and my radio show to make a positive impact on the real estate industry.”
