Mike Pappas’ impressive career spans 40 years. He is currently the president of The Keyes Company/Illustrated Properties, a Miami-based company with 50 branches and 3,300 associates and affiliates, which includes Capital Partners Mortgage, Home Partners Title, Keyes Insurance and Keyes Property Management.

Under his leadership, The Keyes Company generates sales and services in excess of $7.9 billion annually, and is one of the largest independent brokerage firms in the U.S.

Pappas joined Keyes as a sales associate in 1980 and has held a variety of positions, including general sales manager, until becoming president in 1992. He has received numerous honors, including the YPO Legacy Award and the Price Waterhouse “Real Estate Up and Comer of the Year.”

Pappas is also a tech-forward thinker and in 2015, received the RISMedia Real Estate Tech Titan Award. Other notable recognitions include honors from The Miami Association of REALTORS® which recognized him as the Industry Leader of the Year in 2017—and he has been twice-honored as a RISMedia Real Estate Newsmaker, as a Luminary (2019) and Influencer (2021).

Pappas’ work ethic is unparalleled and something he never stops working to perfect. “You have to adapt,” said Pappas in an interview with RISMedia earlier this year. “We had three words that were our mantra : engage, evolve and enjoy. We wanted to continue to grow in a fast-changing world and we wanted to have fun with it.”
