As SVP and general sales manager, Michael Sorrentino was instrumental in Corcoran’s net-positive growth in 2023. Working with the company’s IT team, he was able to create a commercial real estate landing page on the Corcoran website to support and grow agents who work with commercial properties. After seeing the success of previously held sessions, Sorrentino rolled out his signature “Spinning Plates” workshops to all of Corcoran’s Manhattan and Brooklyn offices as business development workshops.
“It is rewarding seeing the agents I’ve worked with flourish and the company become a strong community,” says Sorrentino. “My driving motivation at Corcoran is to provide agents with a tangible way to grow their business, and I thrive on the one-on-one coaching and mentoring aspects of my role.”
From his “Spinning Plates” workshops, he has created a cross-regional training program that assists agents with their desire to expand across markets. Sorrentino also worked to implement a new way to recognize agent milestones at Corcoran and build a robust agent support system.
“I have been able to watch all leaders at the firm challenge their agents and employees to reach their highest potential in the ultra-competitive real estate industry. This ultimately increases the influence of the already powerful Corcoran brand.”
