Real estate professionals know better than anyone how difficult finding a new home can be, but Michael Valdes made a successful move in July 2024 when he departed eXp Realty after four years to take on a new challenge as CEO of cloud-based LPT International Realty.

“I saw greater opportunities for me to be able to share what I’ve done in the past, bringing my experience to a company that has such incredible growth potential, and that truly was the overarching decision to join Robert (Palmer, founder of LPT Realty) and LPT,” said Valdes about his decision to join the new firm. “I look forward to contributing to the unparalleled growth we are about to embark on.”

In his new role, Valdes put LPT’s expansion plans–such as the company’s first brokerage opening in Canada, with two more in the pipeline–into action, drawing on his experience with growing brands that he’s cultivated throughout his real estate career.
