Company CEO Mike Pappas ushered in the fourth generation of Keyes leadership in early 2023, by naming his daughter, Christina Pappas, president of the firm.
“Only 3% of family-owned companies reach a fourth generation of leadership, with just 12% even reaching a third generation,” said Pappas said, citing Family Business Institute data. “Christina’s ascension to president of Keyes is a special moment for our family and puts us in a strong position to adapt to the industry’s evolution. She is well-suited to lead the integration of advanced technology that makes the real estate sales process more efficient and consumer-friendly, while understanding that you cannot automate a real relationship.”
Meanwhile, Pappas focused on the statewide expansion of the firm in 2023, the largest independent in Florida, by successfully leading the acquisition of the 100-agent Boca Realty Inc., and 60-agent Mizner Grande Realty, merging both firms into Keyes’s Boca Raton offices.
A long-time industry visionary, influencer and advocate, Pappas also finished a two-year term as chairman of the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Board of Directors.
