Myron Lo is chief strategy officer of ReferralExchange, one of the real estate industry’s leading referral networks. His responsibilities include business development, new products, new verticals and guidance of the company’s overall direction. Slowly changing the “this is how we’ve always done it” mentality, Lo is helping bring large, established organizations into the world of centrally managed agent referral networks.
In 2019, Lo’s greatest accomplishments included the launch and expansion of ReferralExchange’s mortgage and title verticals, as well as the successful expansion into the Canadian real estate market.
“By leveraging the strong agent relationships ReferralExchange has built over the years, I believe that we are on the cusp of fundamentally changing not only the real estate industry, but also the mortgage and title industries,” says Lo.
Before joining ReferralExchange in 2013, Lo was responsible for product and marketing innovation at ZipRealty. He started his career at Accenture (Andersen Consulting), where he advised companies on a variety of software and technology issues. Lo received a BS in managerial economics from UC Davis and an MBA from the University of Southern California and is also a licensed real estate agent in California.
To encapsulate what ReferralExchange’s journey has been and where he sees the company going, Lo cites a quote from Matshona Dhliwayo: “Great things take time; that is why seeds persevere through rocks and dirt to bloom.”
Lo says, “It finally feels like some of the seeds we’ve been planting in the industry are starting to gain some traction.”
