Though a lot of people might remember this idiom differently, for those who know Robert Taylor, that phrase means an end to the status quo and upending the everyday inefficient habits that often plague the industry.

Perpetually unsatisfied with letting things be, Taylor was in his element in 2021, when unprecedented conditions opened a universe of possibilities for someone with the will to rethink how an organization operates. Leading his local REALTOR® Association in Michigan, Taylor fully restructured the flow and responsibilities of his members and staff, with everything from scheduling to hybrid participation getting a full workover. That work has resulted in increased participation of a younger demographic, an increase in volunteering and attendance, more affordability and communication and brand new analytics to streamline staff. As most have focused on the challenges of this year, Taylor focused on the opportunities. And the results speak for themselves.
