In his first full year as CEO of Douglas Elliman, Scott Durkin led the brokerage, its operations, technology initiatives and strategic growth efforts across the country, serving over 6,600 agents and approximately 115 offices. He helped achieve nationwide sales of nearly $51.2 billion, the highest sales volume for the company in 10 years, with nearly 60,000 sales and rental transactions, also the highest in a decade.
Durkin was also instrumental in the launch of AdPro, a new custom-built digital ad publishing solution that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help agents more effectively promote properties, target potential buyers, expand their reach and generate more leads.
“The best real estate professionals understand that helping a client buy a new home is often when the real work—and joy—of being an agent truly begins,” says Durkin.
Under Durkin’s leadership, the firm also expanded its footprint to include Nevada, Vero Beach, Florida, New Canaan, Connecticut, Basalt, Colorado and Nantucket, Massachusetts.
