Sipho Simela is a fintech entrepreneur who is a respected subject-matter expert in proptech and regularly contributes market insights in his spare time.

Simela was named to the Westfair Business Journal 40 Under 40, and was invited to the Bipartisan Policy Center Executive Council on housing affordability.

Throughout the year, Simela leveraged an investment from Connecticut Innovations to expand his team further, advance his technology platform and develop its Universal Rental Application to better serve the affordable housing market nationwide. Under Siemla’s leadership, Matrix Rental Solutions was named the Stamford Chamber of Commerce Company of the Year in 2023. They also raised a $1.5 million Seed Capital Round.
