Stacey Johnson-Cosby, a REALTOR® and broker for over 30 years and investor for over 25, is a catalyst for change in the real estate industry.
In 2023, Johnson-Cosby organized a local city council housing-industry candidate forum to provide her community with information about candidates running for office. She also organized three Jackson County tax appeal workshops to educate over 3,500 homeowners on how to file a property tax appeal. She hosted and organized a Legislative & Community Town Hall for home/property owners in the county to hear from elected officials about proposed legislative solutions and voice suggestions.
For her work in fighting for private property rights, Johnson-Cosby was named vice chair of the NAR Property Management Forum last year.
Johnson-Cosby has also been in the process of building a national organization of small to medium independent housing providers, the National Housing Provider Coalition, representing the voice of millions in the rental market.
Johnson-Cosby says that the highlight of her job is “Hearing from people constantly that I helped them in some way.”
“As REALTORS®, I firmly believe that our private property rights are the cornerstone of the American Dream, and I have dedicated significant time and effort to promote and protect our rights in the face of unprecedented challenges,” she explained.
