A 35-plus year veteran of the real estate industry, Tami Bonnell joined EXIT Realty in 1999. An internationally renowned speaker and leader in the real estate industry, she began her career with EXIT owning the rights to New England, then became vice president in 2001. In 2012, she was appointed CEO, and in 2021, she became co-chair of the organization.

Prior to joining EXIT, Bonnell taught mergers and acquisitions, and was instrumental in building three major brands, responsible for acquiring 114 companies for one firm.

One of six children, Bonnell learned the value of work ethic from her father who was involved in building and developing. She also credits him with teaching her the importance of building authentic relationships and focusing on the individual needs of people.

Bonnell has consistently been recognized with many honors, including among STEMconnector®’s 100 Corporate Women Leaders in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). In 2023, Bonnell was honored by Buffini & Company with RISMedia’s Real Estate Leadership Award in recognition of her decades-long commitment to innovation and resilience in order to blaze new paths to success for real estate professionals and consumers. Accepting the award during RISMedia’s 27th Annual Power Broker Reception & Dinner, held this past November in Anaheim, California, Bonnell said, “You have to be a leader personally and professionally. You have to put your heart into it, and you have to put your people first. You need to be on the right side regardless of what anyone else is saying.”

Passionate about investing in people, Bonnell is a proud member of the National Women’s Council of REALTORS® and NAWRB’s Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Council. She is a frequent speaker at industry events, and known for her keen sense of real estate market trends.
