Tina Lapp

Tina Lapp is a business leader, team builder and entrepreneur who has spent the last 28 years as an active member of the central Ohio business community, and the national real estate and professional-education community.

Lapp currently holds the position of head of Local Brands for Colibri Real Estate and she is co-owner of National Background Check, Inc. Colibri Real Estate consists of several brands dedicated to professional adult education, including Hondros College, Superior School of Real Estate, Arizona School of Real Estate and Business, Hogan School of Real Estate, Rockwell Institute, Gold Coast Schools, Real Estate  Express, McKissock, The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, CompuCram and Learn Mortgage. Lapp is responsible for the overall strategic vision and planning for the educational brands in support of the company’s mission to serve the adult learner.

Additionally, Lapp served on the board of the national Real Estate Educators Association (REEA) from 2013-2018, serving as president for a one-year term. She is also an active member of the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO) and is currently serving on their Program Committee. She is an active member of the Ohio REALTORS (OR), the Columbus Board of REALTORS (CBR), and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), having served on their Public Policy Committee.

During RISMedia’s recent Real Estate’s Rocking in the New Year event, Lapp spoke on the New Trends Driving Women Leadership panel. “There is still an inequity that is embedded in many company cultures,” she said. “But businesses are waking up and recognizing the need for more women in leadership”
