Prudential Network Realty sales professionals Dennis and Kathy Lang, a husband and wife team from the company’s Beaches office in Atlantic Beach, recently participated in The Art of Yoga at the J. Johnson Gallery in Jacksonville Beach, the company announced. The charity event raised more than $600 to benefit the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Jacksonville’s Special Needs Tours.
“Prudential Network Realty professionals are very passionate about charitable giving and supporting the communities in which we work and live,” says Christy Budnick, executive vice president of residential real estate. “The generosity of Dennis and Kathy is inspiring. They use their yoga talent and expertise to support others and benefit the community at large in a very positive way.”
With a backdrop of paintings by J. Johnson Gallery featured artist Emilio Perez and accompanied by Jacksonville musician Arvid Smith, the Langs led a multi-level yoga class, integrating a graceful blend of balanced energy, awareness and alignment. The Langs are certified instructors of Yin and Vinyasa Flow Yoga and have practiced yoga for more than 10 years. They both completed their RYT 200- and 500-hour certifications at Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina. They teach numerous classes and workshops in Northeast Florida, including charity-based practices, and bring a unique perspective to yoga instruction by co-teaching. Both the Langs and Smith were part of J. Johnson Gallery’s similar Art of Movement event last summer, which raised nearly $1,300 for the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens.
