Century 21 Real Estate LLC recently recognized Dan Heyman of CENTURY 21 Advantage Gold for his efforts generating donations and awareness for the Easter Seals’ Walk With Me Philadelphia fundraiser. In 2013, Heyman raised $4,200 for Easter Seals’ Walk With Me, more than anyone else in the CENTURY 21® System, through local fundraisers and events.
“Dan’s dedication to raising funds and awareness for Easter Seals is a fantastic example for others to follow,” says Rick Davidson, president and chief executive officer of Century 21 Real Estate LLC and 2013-2014 Chairman, International Board of Directors at Easter Seals. “I am proud to say that, because of the hard work of individuals like Dan, our C21 System has been able to build upon our incredible legacy of giving to such a deserving organization.”
In addition to raising funds for the cause, Heyman, who joined the CENTURY 21 System nearly six years ago, is heavily involved in the local Walk With Me planning committee. He also supports The Jewish Relief Agency, a provider of hunger relief and aid services for needy families in the Philadelphia area, and The Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, a residential community in rural Rwanda, founded by his late sister, Anne Heyman.
Since 1979, the CENTURY 21 System has donated more than $108 million to Easter Seals. In 2013, the franchisees raised approximately $2.4 million, a 10 percent increase from the previous year. The brand sponsors Easter Seals’ annual Walk With Me events and on a local level System members raise funds for the Walk in their community.
