Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England, New York and Westchester Properties recently celebrated its top producers at an award ceremony. Candace Adams, CEO, welcomed more than 1,000 team members to the “Year of Being Bold” at the company’s annual Awards and Service Event. The day-long celebration, which took place at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Conn., honored top producers, years of service and leaders in the firm’s philanthropic efforts.
Some of the event’s biggest highlights included honoring:
Julianne Ward (Greenwich, Conn.), the No. 1 agent in Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England, New York and Westchester Properties in 2018 for gross commission income (GCI). In addition, Ward also ranked No. 8 in the entire Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices global network of nearly 50,000 agents for GCI.
The Lepore-Eagan Team (West Hartford, Conn.), the company’s No. 1 team in both GCI and homes sold. With 143 sales totaling nearly $50 million in volume, they also placed No. 88 out of the global network of nearly 50,000 agents.
Nancy Reardon (Granby, Conn.), the company’s No. 1 sales executive in homes sold. Reardon sold 101 homes in 2018.
The Sciarra Mok Team (West Hartford, Conn.) was honored with The Top Team Service Award for receiving more keys per team member than anyone else in the company. Keys are appointed based on the number of four- and five-star reviews received from clients. The Top Service Sales Executive Award went to Sharon Rispoli (Windsor, Conn.) for the second year in a row.
Elayne Jassey (Stamford, Conn.) was recognized with the Thirty-Year Legend Award, the first individual to reach this milestone in the entire Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network. Legend Award recipients are those that consistently rank in the top 2 percent of the network or higher for more than five years.
“We are here today to honor and thank you for all of the hard work and dedication you show to our company, and your clients, every day,” said Adams. “You are bold, and this year we are not going to be quiet about it!”
The company also celebrated raising more than $320,000 for Sunshine Kids, a nonprofit that supports children with cancer. At the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices National Convention in March, it placed No. 2 in the entire network for funds raised. The Glastonbury, Conn., office was acknowledged at the awards ceremony for raising nearly $37,000.
In addition to acknowledging the firm’s award-winning team members and years of service, the event also served as the launch of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices new Forever Brand and Forever Agent advertising campaign. This falls on the heels of the announcement that HomeServices of America has earned the title of the country’s largest residential real estate company, based on transaction sides, according to RISMedia’s 2019 Power Broker Report.
“Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is a forever brand, and is now the largest residential real estate company in the country. No one else in our industry can say that,” said Adams. “We are thrilled to launch this campaign here at home, and further promote our agents and the unique services that they provide to our clients.”
