RISMEDIA, April 10, 2007-The Assistant Product Group (APG), a manufacturer of organizational products, has announced a new gratuity program designed to aid Realtors' efforts to maintain customer loyalty.

"Today's home market is fiercely competitive. The effort it takes to maintain mind share with the homeowner gets more difficult as they are bombarded with marketing from all media," said Amy Moeller, APG co-founder. "When one of our friends received a bottle of wine and a basket for their home's closing we saw an opportunity to provide the Realtor with a practical and long lasting option to maintain customer relations."

The average new homeowner spends nearly $9,000 on move related products which include home decorating, improvement and repair, according to Move, Inc. Additionally, Response Media sites that 82% of Realtors will give a thank you gift to a new homeowner, spending over $585 million dollars a year on closing gifts. Top gifts include gift cards, flowers, food/wine baskets and home accessories.

APG's "I Sold It!" gratuity program will offer its signature product, The Decorating Assistant to licensed Realtors at a promotional cost of $49.95 (MSRP $99.95) per unit. The Decorating Assistant organizes everything a homeowner accumulates when building, decorating or remodeling their home. Three room organizing files feature a magnetic room planning surface with furniture pieces, a display page for color coordination and shopping, storage for business cards, and 2 large expandable pockets for receipts, warranties, contracts and larger samples. Also included is a desktop file holder and a stylish, carry-all tote.

Janie Davis, a licensed Realtor from Portland, Oregon, discovered the Decorating Assistant when it first launched in 2005. Says Davis, "APG's new 'I Sold It' gratuity program delivers a win/win situation for everyone. Homeowners receive a gift they can truly use and realtors can give a gift that easily fits their budget."
