RISMEDIA, April 25, 2007-A dazzling collection of designer suits, coats, raincoats, blouses and accessories-enough to require the services of an industrial-sized van-were recently delivered to "Dress for Success Brookhaven," thanks to the generosity of the staff and management of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty. This marks the seventh year that Daniel Gale Sotheby's has participated in the Dress for Success clothing drive, which collects professional attire to help outfit low income women for employment.
"Daniel Gale Sotheby's has a history of donating the most extraordinary clothing for our job seekers, beautifully maintained and ready to wear," said Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian Foley, speaking for the Office of Women's Services, sponsor of the Dress for Success Brookhaven program. "The sheer volume of clothing and accessories donated by the entire Daniel Gale team has helped to make this drive a wonderful success," he added. "These are women helping women-a true expression of faith in a woman's ability to succeed. They are outstanding corporate partners."
Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organization that helps women to make successful transitions into the workforce. Each client receives a business suit for job interviews and is given a second suit when she gets a job.
