Prudential Gary Greene Creates Commercial Real Estate Services Division

RISMEDIA, April 23, 2008-Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors has launched a new division specializing in commercial transactions, announced Mark Woodroof, partner of the Houston-based company. “We are taking advantage of what we believe is a huge opportunity in the Greater Houston area,” said Woodroof.

Ray Allison has been tapped to serve as director of the Commercial Real Estate Services division, which is located at the company’s corporate headquarters at 10575 Katy Freeway. “Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors has such a large footprint in the Houston area which will poise this new division for success,” said Allison, who formerly managed the company’s Inner Loop office. “The commercial division will handle all facets of commercial real estate including landlord and tenant representation. Our residential agents will have an opportunity to make referrals to the commercial division or to participate in the transactions themselves with our support.”

In orchestrating the new division, Allison will be taking advantage of the company’s investment in Prudential Real Estate Affiliates’ ORION technology.

This Web-based interface has a marketing function allowing 70,000+ Prudential agents nationwide to view commercial listings placed on the system. ORION also makes accessible a vast array of resources including training modules and marketing tools.

Woodroof said that what they hope to do over time is to develop a network of commercial agents within Prudential Gary Greene to help support the company’s ever-growing client base. “The needs of these clients are continually being communicated to our agents, and now we have the resources to serve those clients with their commercial real estate needs as well as their residential needs.”
