Prudential Real Estate Appoints New Regional SVP of North America

RISMEDIA, May 21, 2008-Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., a Prudential Financial, Inc. [NYSE: PRU] company, has announced that Lou Gonzalez has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, regional operations – North America, effective immediately.

Gonzalez reports to Laurie Keenan, president of Prudential Real Estate, and is responsible for network growth and servicing of all franchisees in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He also oversees the company’s commercial real estate operations.

“Lou’s extensive experience and knowledge are great assets to our team,” said Keenan. “He works tirelessly to strengthen our affiliate Network and to help our affiliates maximize the services and resources they receive through Prudential Real Estate.”

Gonzalez served Prudential Real Estate as senior vice president, strategic initiatives, and president of the Western Region, since joining the company in August 2007. He brings 23 years of industry experience to his position, including real estate sales and service, franchise sales, sales management and territory development in domestic and international markets.

“I’m eager to work with our sales and service representatives in supporting our affiliates across North America,” said Gonzalez. “This is an exciting time in real estate; we think opportunity abounds. To capitalize, we’re launching our Inline Media Strategy, among other initiatives, to drive consumer traffic to our affiliates and to promote our brand as the trusted source for real estate information and services.”

Before joining Prudential Real Estate, Gonzalez served as vice president of Affiliate Services for Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates. Previously, Gonzalez held positions of regional vice president, Affiliate Membership Sales for Sotheby’s; and regional vice president, Franchise Sales for Coldwell Banker. He also was president of Homes and Land Publishing, Ltd.; and executive vice president/development director for RE/MAX Europe, among other appointments.
