50 Days of Leaders: Greening Real Estate

RISMEDIA, Sept. 11, 2008-No matter the industry, businesses across the world are working together to become more eco-conscious. In real estate, professionals have the opportunity to become EcoBrokers to help incorporate green features into their every day practices. Today’s Realtor on the Rise, Carson Matthews, was so passionate about the designation that the founder of EcoBroker flew down to Atlanta to personally teach the designation course.

Spearheading a movement: Matthews brought the EcoBroker designation course to Harry Norman.

Blog savvy: Matthews is an avid blogger, posting his thoughts at www.TheBuckheadOffice.com.

Matthews recruited and signed up 48 agents to take the EcoBroker designation course. Through EcoBroker educational courses, agents become Certified EcoBrokers and are able to assist their clients with pursuing and marketing properties with green features. Matthews’ efforts were so successful that the founder of EcoBroker, John Beldock, decided to travel to Atlanta to personally teach the designation class, which is typically an online course.
