RISMEDIA, Sept. 26, 2008-Cartus, a provider of global mobility management and workforce development solutions, announced that the Connecticut Quality Improvement Award (CQIA) Partnership has recognized Cartus with six silver-level Innovation Prizes. Cartus received the honors based on its 2007 innovations to improve service to its clients.Cartus received the prestigious silver awards for the following innovative programs: in supply chain management, for creation of a Center of Excellence team; in marketing, for deployment of the cartusnetworks.com microsite to real estate brokers; in facilities, for reduced use of office supplies; in relocation accounting, for the reconciliation worksheet; in business process, for business continuity planning; and in operations accounting, for electronic funds transfer automation.

The CQIA’s are America’s oldest state-level awards and are judged based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria for Performance Excellence. The Connecticut awards are meant to stimulate interest in state organizations’ implementation of quality processes, and at the same time, foster recognition of
innovative improvements.

“Developing new solutions for the benefit of our clients, customers, and suppliers is an ongoing focus at Cartus, and we are honored to receive these awards from CQIA as testimony to that dedication,” said Kevin J. Kelleher, president and CEO. “I congratulate all of the winning teams for their significant achievements.”

Cartus and other recipients were judged based on their ability to solve a problem or leverage an opportunity within their organizations by using an innovative new service, process, or product that has been developed within the last five years.

This year’s winners will be recognized at the CQIA Partnership’s 21st Annual Conference on Quality and Innovation, to be held on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008 at the Water’s Edge Resort in Westbrook, Conn.
