RealtyTrac Promotes Ari Monkarsh to VP of Business Development

RISMEDIA, January 23, 2009-RealtyTracTM, a leading online marketplace for foreclosure properties, announced that Ari Monkarsh has been promoted to the position of vice president of business development. In this new role, Monkarsh is focusing on member subscription sales, advertising sales, traffic, lead generation programs and product sales.

Monkarsh joined RealtyTrac in 2005 to expand and manage the company’s professional sales organization. Since that time, he has played an integral role in the creation and implementation of RealtyTrac’s sales and marketing strategy, which has led to explosive growth and significant strengthening of RealtyTrac’s business development programs. Under Ari’s leadership, RealtyTrac has developed partnerships with many of the leading companies in the real estate market. Monkarsh was also instrumental in expanding RealtyTrac’s new business units, including the company’s new auction, training and educational units.

Prior to joining RealtyTrac, Monkarsh was instrumental in re-engineering Homestore’s Realtor.com operation, increasing sales activities among the 150 inside and field sales representatives.
