New Harlem Condominium Development to Donate Space to Community

2280_fdb_071008_deliver1RISMEDIA, June 19, 2009-RGS Holdings, LLC, the developer behind the new condominium development in Harlem 2280 FDB, announced that they have made a long term commitment to lease the second-floor community space for no rental fee to The JETS OF HARLEM, Inc.

The Jets of Harlem, Inc. is a non-profit organization that works with approximately 150 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 18, and has a mission to help local youth reach their full academic and athletic potential through sports and teambuilding. Since 2003, The Jets of Harlem, Inc. has been a full contact football team and cheerleading squad with eight divisions.

“We are very excited to be able to give back to this Harlem community organization,” said Hans Futterman, principal of RGS Holdings, LLC. “As a resident of Harlem, I know how much The Jets of Harlem, Inc. contributes to the community. It is a wonderful organization whose mission I strongly stand by and hope to see flourish in its new home.”

RGS Holdings, LLC has committed the 1,400 square foot community-use space located at 2280 Frederick Douglass Boulevard to the Jets of Harlem, Inc. without charge for a renewable period of ten years. With a separate entrance and private elevator, the space will be large enough to hold team and coach meetings and academic tutoring sessions.

“We are honored to accept this space at 2280 FDB,” said Coach Jamel Wright, founder and president of The Jets of Harlem, Inc. “Having this space to call home will be a great benefit to our organization and the children it serves, helping them to realize their full potential.”

2280 FDB is a 12-story new construction residential development that will have 89 condominium residences ranging in size from 458 to 1,641 square feet and in price from $329,000- $1.889 Million.
