Houston Association of Realtors Becomes Nation’s Largest Local Realtor Organization

RISMEDIA, August 26, 2009-The Houston Association of Realtors® (HAR) has officially become the largest local Realtor board in the United States following a recent rise in membership and a decline in membership at the Long Island (New York) Board of Realtors (LIBOR).

HAR currently has a total Realtor membership of 23,354, surpassing LIBOR’s Realtor membership total of 23,236 by 118 Realtors. HAR and LIBOR are by far the largest local Realtor associations, as the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors is currently third with nearly 10,000 fewer members.
