RISMEDIA, January 12, 2010—Fox Interactive Media is closing its Atlanta-based SpringWidgets. RISMedia has been using SpringWidgets as one of its news feed providers, and any readers who have the SpringWidgets code downloaded to their website, myspace page, desktop or other location will no longer receive the news via this channel. RISMedia is working on a replacement solution and will advise readers in this space as soon as an alternative becomes available.

SpringWidgets was launched by FIM Labs with fanfare in late 2006. It was FIM’s first API, first developer platform, and first outreach to the dev community.
