RealtyTrac Releases New Foreclosure Search Widget for Real Estate Agents and Brokers

RISMEDIA, March 4, 2011—RealtyTrac, a leading online marketplace for foreclosure properties, announced the launch of a new foreclosure search widget for real estate agents and brokers, allowing them to easily insert a fully functional nationwide foreclosure property search to their websites. The new product will help agents drive more traffic to their websites and generate exclusive leads from end-users.

According to the company, members of the RealtyTrac Agent Network can download HTML code for their personalized foreclosure search widget for free. Once an agent copies the code and adds it to their website, the widget will be activated immediately, delivering real-time foreclosure data directly from RealtyTrac to end-users.

“We’re proud to unveil this powerful new product to give our member agents another important weapon in their lead-generating arsenal, along with our proven exclusive territories and agent connect programs and our popular new rebate referral program,” said Rick Sharga, vice president of marketing at RealtyTrac. “Many agents asked if we could provide something like this, and we listened because we know that if they succeed then we succeed.”

End-users will be able to search for foreclosure properties—including defaults, scheduled foreclosure auctions and bank repossessions (REO)—in any county, city or zip code nationwide. Search results will be displayed in list format alongside a dynamic search map allowing users to zoom in and out and drag and drop.

In addition to providing rich content that will help drive traffic to their website and increase the “stickiness” of their website, the foreclosure search widget will also benefit agents by delivering exclusive leads from users who indicate they are interested in a specific property or properties. When a user clicks on a specific property in the map search or on the “Details” link in the list search, they will be asked to enter their contact information to find out more about the property. Once submitted, that lead will be e-mailed instantly to the real estate agent and will appear on the agent’s dashboard on RealtyTrac.

The foreclosure search widget is one of several powerful new tools and features RealtyTrac has added in the past year to help agents and consumers tap the red-hot foreclosure market:

-Foreclosure search by lender name
-Foreclosure-MLS Match
-Neighborhood Stats & Trends
-Recently Sold search
-Bank Hot Properties
-Short Sale buying opportunities
-Short Sale listing opportunities
-Property Analyzer
