Lynda Jensen Appointed to Leadership Position with The Wine Country Group

RISMEDIA, June 9, 2011–The Wine Country Group by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, a division of Better Homes & Gardens Mason-McDuffie Real Estate, has hired Lynda Jensen into a regional leadership position.  Ms. Jensen recently held the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager of Heritage Sotheby’s International Realty in the Napa Valley. Ms. Jensen will be responsible for developing a strategy to expand the region into contiguous Wine Country markets.

“Lynda will provide the company with key leadership and guidance in our efforts to grow our footprint into other Sonoma and Napa County market areas,” says Ed Krafchow, chairman of the board of Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie. “Lynda has a long-term track record of success in the real estate industry and is well respected in the Napa Valley. In 1979, Ms. Jensen began her career in real estate management. Having developed and managed top offices in the United States, she moved to the Napa Valley in 1992. She was the General Manager for Prudential California Realty Napa County from 1992-1994, and subsequently was the Executive Vice President/General Manager of RE/MAX Napa Valley, which became Heritage Sotheby’s International Realty, from 1994-2010. She also served as President of the Napa Chapter of North Bay Association of Realtors®, in 2003 and 2004.

Mason-McDuffie is a well regarded real estate company that has served Northern California for more than 120 years.  The affiliation between Mason-McDuffie and Better Homes & Gardens last October was the largest single real estate company affiliation in the Realogy Franchise Group’s history.
