RISMEDIA, July 21, 2011—Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) announced recently that a number of new fields have been added to its connectMLS™ system to improve the ability of its real estate professionals to effectively search the largest active listing database in the country. Other upgrades to the system were also made consistent with MRED’s continuing efforts to maintain connectMLS™ as one of the best MLS property database systems.
The most popular addition to the system may be the ability to search for ranges of price increase, decrease or both as a percentage of the Original List Price or the Previous List Price. This is available via the Search Screen, Area Market Survey or Market Statistics Report. Complementing this new search feature is the ability to add the results to Custom Reports. The percentages appear with up or down arrows and color-coded, with red representing a price increase and green a price decrease.
dynaConnections is the vendor for connectMLS™. Aside from creating one of the most function rich MLS systems, dynaConnections is incredibly responsive and continues to make improvements above and beyond the addition of data fields to the system.
For example, photo captions have been substantively updated. They are now subdivided into five categories for quick identification, and over forty new descriptions have been added to the photo caption dropdown menu.
Another significant improvement is to the look and feel of maps in connectMLS™. There is a lighter background color on all connectMLS™ maps for better readability. The pin points indicating listings are brighter and stand out even more on the lighter maps. Also, the “Aerial view” link under Additional Info has been modified to default to the “Bird’s eye view.”
