Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate has announced that Gary Greene, REALTORS®, the residential real estate sales leader in Houston, Texas, has joined its growing franchise network. Owned by Mark Woodroof and Marilyn Eiland, the former Prudential Real Estate Services affiliate will now operate as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene.

According to the company, through the years, the brokerage has grown to encompass 20 offices and more than 850 agents, all serving the Houston market.

“Today marks a significant milestone for our brand as we welcome these influential real estate leaders to the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network,” says Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC, whose parent company is Realogy Corporation, a global leader in real estate and relocation services. “Mark and Marilyn have grown an impressive brokerage based on trust, integrity and a superior reputation. Our shared vision and values make this a strong partnership that I’m confident will continue to flourish as both the brokerage and the brand continue to expand.”

“Bringing our company into the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network was a strategic decision for us,” says Woodroof. “The brand will best support us in providing unparalleled consumer real estate experiences and company growth opportunities in the Greater Houston area.”

Since 2007, the company has listed more homes, sold more listings and closed more transactions than any other brokerage in the Houston area, according to MLS company ranking data. In 2011, the Houston Business Journal named the brokerage as the area’s No. 1 real estate brokerage.

“Our decision to join the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network provides a positive change that enables our agents to take advantage of a dynamic brand,” says Eiland. “Our agents are excited to utilize the brand’s innovative technology and resources to target new customers and offer additional value to our clients.”

In conjunction with this announcement, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene is now an associate member of the Cartus Broker Network. A Realogy subsidiary, Cartus is the premier provider of global employee relocation solutions serving the corporate, government and affinity markets.

Founded in 1963, Gary Greene, REALTORS® will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year. The company actively supports Sunshine Kids™, raising more than $3 million dollars for the nonprofit organization dedicated to providing activities, trips, and events for young cancer patients.
