RES.NET, a provider of software applications connecting real estate professionals and consumers, recently launched its second annual Halloween-themed contest for real estate agent users, the company has announced. The contest began on Tuesday, Oct. 16 and concludes on Halloween, Oct. 31. During this timeframe, RES.NET will hide “monster icons” throughout its agent portal that users can search for to win prizes, while gaining greater awareness of the technology and capabilities at their fingertips. The grand prize is an all-expense-paid trip for two to New York City during the 2012 holiday season.
“We started the contest last year as a way for agents to gain a deeper understanding of their RES.NET portal and Halloween seemed like the perfect opportunity,” says Todd Mobraten, COO and president of RES.NET and USRES. “There is a common misconception that we are strictly in the REO space, and this contest provides an exciting opportunity for new agents and even longtime users to discover additional features within the portal and get more true value from their membership.”
Through the contest, agents will be able to identify RES.NET features, such as the ability to easily import all property types and contacts. This allows them to manage their work and communicate with all parties in a completely paperless environment without ever leaving the system.
As users uncover the monsters hidden within the portals, they submit their findings to RES.NET. For each monster found, a participant has his or her name entered to win various prizes. Agents who locate all seven monsters are entered to win the grand prize trip to NYC.
Other prizes include a Visa gift card; a RES.NET membership discount; an Apple TV; an iPad2 and a RES.NET renewal or upgrade. The contest is open to all RES.NET agent members. Findings must be submitted by midnight, Oct. 31 in order to be eligible. More information is available on the RES.NET Facebook page. Results will be announced on Nov. 2.
RES.NET’s six portals foster communication and real-time information sharing among all participants of a real estate transaction. By synchronizing real estate professionals and consumers, the technology optimizes communication and centralizes assignments and documentation and closes the communication gaps during a real estate transaction.
