Pillar To Post Named 2013 Military Friendly Franchise®

Pillar To Post has been ranked in the top 10 percent of all franchises nationwide and named a 2013 Military Friendly Franchise® by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs, the company has announced.

According to the company, Pillar To Post supports military veterans by offering service members a 10 percent discount on the franchise fee, allowing veterans to use their background and training to launch a new civilian career.

Pillar To Post has more than 100 military veterans in the system like Andrew Way, a franchise owner in St. Louis. Way became a Pillar To Post franchisee earlier this year after serving in the U.S. Navy as an avionics technician.

“One in four returning service members indicate interest in owning their own business,” says Sean Collins, director for G.I. Jobs. “Franchises are a perfect fit for service members, who bring unparalleled operational skill sets and work ethic but are often unclear how to start a business.”
