As any real estate professional will tell you, keeping up with and utilizing technology can be an overwhelming proposition. However, Beth Young, vice president of the realty segment at PropertyInfo Corporation—a Stewart company—knows firsthand just how important it is to have the right tools and systems in place. In fact, she is now responsible for the company’s real estate broker and MLS/Association technology services, working closely with their customers in order to keep technology adoption rates growing, specifically when it comes to their transaction management system SureClose®.
A former SureClose user herself, Young started working with a title company in the early ’90s before transitioning to a real estate brokerage where she oversaw transaction coordination in addition to handling all of the files from transaction contract to close. “Being an actual SureClose user enables me to provide credibility to our customers,” says Young. “I have a real understanding of what customers are facing when it comes to converting from a paper-based system to a digital system, which enables me to speak their language and bridge the gap.”
