What factor has the largest influence on the real estate industry today?
I would say the most influential thing is the economy. How is the current economy? What is unemployment like? All of those things guide the real estate market. The desire to own a home is something indigenous to our country and different than most other places in the world. As long as the economy continues to grow, more people will be likely to grab or continue that American Dream.
What would you say is the key to staying successful?
The most critical part of the industry is your interpersonal relationships with both clients and other agents. In the end, it’s really about the agents that want to work with you over and over, and the clients that trust you, that will work with you again and refer their friends and family. The ability to build relationships is important in any business, but it’s even more important in real estate.
