Homes.com Improves Leads, Simplifies Incubation

leads_creativity_conceptThe market is on its way up, with more and more homes hitting the market at a stable, steady pace. As the industry gains stable footing, it’s more important than ever for agents to draw in leads, streamline incubation and enhance response time.

Many are turning to real estate resource platforms for help. One of the winning options is Homes.com, which offers a wide variety of solutions to target and capture local consumers, allowing agents to reel in motivated homebuyers.

Donna Southwell, CFO/COO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, The Masiello Group, turned to Homes.com for assistance. With 32 offices in four states—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts—The Masiello Group currently employs more than 600 agents.

Southwell notes that currently, her market is slowly improving year-over-year, showing small gains in appreciation and slow, steady improvement.

“We have seen an increase in leads to our agents and also traffic to our website,” notes Southwell, who began using Homes.com in January 2013. “Currently, Homes.com is in the top five of referrals to our website.”

Homes.com has been leading the way in real estate solutions and innovative marketing services for more than 20 years, consistently rolling out new and improved corporate-level resources to keep agents and brokers on top of their game. And the 2013 Online Performance Study put out by REAL Trends found Homes.com to be in the forefront when compared to similar lead generation services. The study, which claimed a quest for “the holy grail of quantity, value and the true source” of real estate leads, found Homes.com to be the “front-runner in quality leads.”

Homes.com seems to pull a high number of leads as well, putting an emphasis on both quality and quantity. Southwell comments that since they began using Homes.com, the number of leads coming through has significantly increased. “The volume of leads this year has been quite substantial with the subscriptions to various sites, including Homes.com.

However, Southwell explains, it isn’t just the incoming leads that are important. What is equally pressing is how much the agents understand about quick response and lead incubation. So while you can employ tools to drive leads and traffic, if your agents aren’t on top of their response time, valuable connections can slip through the cracks.

Homes.com makes lead incubation simpler and less time consuming. “Once the agent’s accounts are set up, they can log in and really use the site for incubating leads themselves, marketing resources and more,” says Southwell.

“Homes.com is a very robust site for agents,” comments Southwell. “With the feed pulling in all their listings, they can do as little or as much as they want with the site and still get the benefit of enhancing listings, profiles and many lead opportunities.”
