Robert Burns has been named president of Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, REALTORS® effective September 1, 2015, the company has announced. Burns will lead operations and assume responsibility for sales, marketing, education and relocation functions of the company.

Burns is currently vice president of field programs at NRT in New Jersey, the nation’s largest owner and operator of residential real estate brokerages and an affiliated brand of Coldwell Banker. In this role he is responsible for field productivity programs, education and diversity on a company-wide level for seven regional service centers, 700 plus real estate offices and 40,000 plus agents.
Prior to this position, Burns served NRT in the capacity of regional vice president, and worked with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as regional vice president, sales and field operations; director of education and technology trainer. Burns began his career at the age of 20 as a residential real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Burnet in Edina, Minnesota.

Bob is a Minnesota native and his wife, Crystal is a native Iowan.
